    A fantastic opportunity to join our team as a self-employed dog walker and pet sitter with our current customers, holiday/sickness cover, insurance, and invoicing. We have a vacancy for every weekday afternoon pack/individual dog walking, and morning/evening/weekend small pet visits. You must live in the Colne/Holme Valley (preferably between Meltham/Netherton/Golcar/Slaithwaite) for it to be time/petrol efficient. You need to have a vehicle suitable for up to 6 dogs to travel a small distance for business use. Outdoor weatherproof clothing and footwear. Most importantly you need to have a passion for animal care and a very high standard of love and attention. Able to follow precise directions of instructions, clean animal mess as well as the initiative to act accordingly to emergencies. A positive reward/praise-based training attitude with gentle compassionate energy. The attitude and enthusiasm to work independently as well as part of a team, impeccable communication with high customer care with great time management. You will be required to shadow unpaid with the team to meet the animals on a number of occasions for the pets to be completely comfortable with you. Our team will cover your holidays and sickness meaning we retain customers long term. We need someone LONG TERM as this continuity benefits all the pets.
