Supporting young people

Sub-group of Pride in Linthwaite focussing on Youth Engagement. The youth engagement sub-group was initially started in response to local low-level antisocial behaviour issues. The 2 main areas we initially were looking to address were –

• Identifying individuals and how to reach out to them, offering support and activities to re-direct their energies for a better future.

• To engage the wider youth population, offering enrichment opportunities, activities and engagement to help them reach their potential.
